We use the good stuff.

We purchase our materials from the most reputable suppliers.

You've decided you want a new roof. Now what? Many people aren't aware of what goes into the roofing process or how much of a difference the quality of materials can make. Let's go over some essential components that make up your roof so you're adequately prepared!

Underlayment

The underlayment is the most important part of the roof. At TylerCo we only use full peel and stick underlayment to go over the entire roof deck. This special underlayment self seals around nails for maximum protection against the elements.

The roof covering

After the underlayment comes the roof covering. typically made of shingles, metal, or in some cases tile. In the case of shingles we use high quality wind resistant and impact resistant Owens Corning, GAF or CertainTeed shingles. If it's metal, we use 26 or 24 gauge roll formed metal panels locally sourced.

Ventilation

Your roof needs air running under it to keep it cool in the Florida sun. This is accomplished by the ventilation system consisting of two parts; the intake and the exhaust. Intake is usually at your soffit, while your exhaust can be a number of things on your roof from whirly-bird vents, to box vents or ridge vents. We use high-end Lomanco ventillation products. The best in the business!
